You! Be Inspired! — 35 Amazing Fashion Illustrations

Fashion illustration has been a staple in most fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and such. Other than seeing fashion illustrations in magazines it is also used in advertising, fashion boutiques, shows and even in event flyers. The rich fluid lines, bold colors and sometimes the painterly like quality of an illustration brings a whole different sense and meaning in translating clothes that captures and entertains the viewer. While photography does a great job in showing the beauty of fashion, there are times that a good old hand made work brings out a more intimate and sincere approach. This is why for today’s post we are bringing you dear readers some of the most talented and upcoming fashion illustrators and a piece of their work for your eyes to feast upon.

You! Be Inspired! — DKNG Studios

It is said that two heads are better than one, and what better way to prove this age old phrase than to feature the work of DKNG Studios a design studio that has been making waves through its amazing and stunning music posters. DKNG is a fusion of minds of Dan Kuhlken’s and Nathan Goldman’s minds who both knew each other since high school.

Dan and Nathan started collaborating together in college wherein Nathan was working for a boo, in which Dan created the illustrations for every chapter in the book. As cliche as it gets but the rest is history.

Not only did the duo makes fantastic posters but they have tried their hands in other venues such as packaging, apparel, web design and identity. Truly this solidifies the claim of two heads are better than one.

What do you guys think? Which of the featured work is your favorite? If you like their posters you can easily purchase them at their site.

You! Be Inspired! – Geometric Animal Illustrations by Yo Az

We’ve seen a lot of illustration techniques in digital art before that are mind blowing and totally awesome! And today, we will add another amazing digital art project that is so cool and unique in terms of execution and style.

Yo Az, an illustrator and digital artist from Paris, created a stunning series of animal illustrations. It might be a usual subject for most artists but his visualization of each piece makes the whole project stand out among others. Yo Az uses various geometric shapes and lines combined with colors to construct and illustrate each of the animal pieces. He focused on the heads of the animals which when zoomed reveal the intricate placement of various lines, circles, triangles and polygons.
