Do you ever wonder the secret to achieving beautiful black and white photos?  Do you want to know how to get creamy skin and rich contrast in your newborn photography? Well thanks to this Blueprint before and after photography by Gina of Pea Head Prints, you can!

Here is her “secret:” MCP Photoshop Actions combined with great lighting, well-planned poses, and excellent in camera exposure.

Step by step, Gina started with this before image.

1. Cropped for better composition
2. Used Studio Black Drop Spell from MCP’s Bag of Tricks Photoshop Action set to turn the backdrop from dark gray to a true black.
3. Used a black brush to paint the bottom to match
4. Used Vanilla Ice Cream action from the MCP Quickie Collection

As you can see, this was a simple conversion and it works amazing for this photo. Thanks again Gina!
